DENTAL CONSULTANT DATA: NICE TO MEET YOU
Let’s talk about helping others by doing good. When I was a child, my dad was known for helping others in the community. He helped people inside and outside of our religion and instilled this quality in all of his 12 children. That is to always look for an opportunity to help someone. As a Dental Consultant, it is my job to help others but what my dad was talking about goes deeper than that. He was talking about looking for ways to do good outside the normal everyday fashion. So, when I came into contact with Crown Council many years ago and realized their philosophy aligned with how I was raised, I knew these were my peeps. They are the leaders of “Doing Good.”
WHY DO GOOD?
When talking about this subject the first thing I would like to point out is, helping others and doing good feels good, and the more you do for others, the more you do for yourself. When you help others, you are making a difference in someone’s life, and you are impacting the world in a positive way. Helping others doesn’t just make the world better, it makes you better.
THIS DENTAL CONSULTANT WANTS TO KNOW MORE
As I mentioned before, Crown Council has set an amazing example of what it means to “Do Good.” So, I wondered, what is their recipe for success? What is the philosophy behind it all and how can others get involved with being part of this group of amazing people whose mission in life is to help others make life better? Well, why not ask one of the main players on the team? Let me introduce you to Stuart Anderson from Crown Council. Stuart, or should I say Stu as his friends call him, explained it beautifully. Check out what he had to say in my interview with him.
DENTAL CONSULTANT INSIGHTS
1) Doing Good Is The Right Thing To Do
Doing good has been shown to increase self-esteem, empathy, compassion, and improve your mood. It creates a sense of belonging and reduces isolation. It keeps things in perspective, and it is the ultimate family/team-building experience that can and will make you a better person.
2) As You Help Someone, You Are Setting An Example And Teaching Them To Help The Next Person
It can make you feel fulfilled and empowered and can have a ripple effect. Trust me when I say, the ripple effect is real. Helping others can also strengthen your current relationships because when you help others, you give off positive vibes, which can rub off on peers and improve your friendships.
3) It Makes The World A Better Place
This statement my friends is self-explanatory. Who doesn’t want to make the world a better place? If your hand is not up, we have a problem…
Thank you, Stuart Anderson and Crown Council for your example in raising 48 million dollars to date through The Smiles for Life Foundation, organizing humanitarian trips all over the world to help others, hosting the best “non-dental” dental meeting called The Annual Event, building and bettering teams as well as their culture all around.
Nice to meet you, Stuart Anderson.
